INVENTARISASI GULMA PADA PERKEBUNAN TEMBAKAU (Nicotiana tabacum L.) DI DINAS PANGAN PERTANIAN KELAUTAN DAN PERIKANAN KOTA LANGSA
Abstract
Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) is a plant species cultivated for its leaves. This plant is one of the agricultural commodities that can create job opportunities and generate income for the community. But there are plant-disturbing organisms (OPT) that are able to adapt, grow, and develop, namely weeds. Weeds are plants that have a detrimental effect on the growth of tobacco plants. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of weeds and explore methods for weed control in tobacco plantations. The method used in this study involved inventorying weeds in the plantation through observations conducted in four plots or four different lines. The results obtained revealed 15 families and 15 different species. The dominant weeds found were species of Lantana camara L., Borreria latifolia (Aubl.) K. Sch., Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers., Lindernia antipoda (L.) Alston, and the least weeds were the Momordica Charantia L. species, Oxalis barrelieri L., and Axonopus compressus (Sw.) P.Beauv.References
