Rancang Bangun Alat Pengering Jagung Untuk Kelompok Tani Desa Kuala Dua

Abstract"“ Kelompok tani Jagung Desa Kuala Dua memiliki permasalahan pasca panen. Setelah di panen jagung yang akan dijual untuk pakan ternak, harus dikeringkan terlebih dahulu. Proses pengeringan yang selama ini dilakukan petani dengan menjemur jagung menggunakan sinar matahari langsung. Proses pengeringan memakan waktu 2-3hari. Cara ini memiliki kelemahan yaitu hanya dapat dilakukan pada siang hari dan cuaca yang mendukung. Proses pengeringan yang tidak sempurna akan menyebabkan jagung terkena serangan cendawan Aspergillus sp. Hal ini menyebabkan kerugian bagi petani, karena jagung yang bercendawan tidak laku dijual. Belum ada Alat pengering jagung yang digunakan petani.Rancang bangun Alat PengeringJagungini dibuat untuk membantu Kelompok Tani Desa Kuala Dua untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang mereka hadapi.Alat Pengering Jagung yang dihasilkan menggunakan sumber panas dari LPG sehingga dapat dioperasikan pada musim hujan, kabut asap dan kondisi cuaca yang tidak mendukung untuk dilakukan pengeringan jagung secara konvensional.
