Analisis Konsumsi Energi Listrik Pada Sistem Pendingin Ruangan (Air Conditioning) Di Gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak

Abstract"“ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa konsumsi energi pada gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak yang pada akhirnya diharapkan untuk mendapatkan optimasi penggunaan energi pada sistem pendingin ruangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ruangan yang terletak pada lantai 1, lantai 2 dan lantai 3 gedung Direktorat Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Perhitungan beban pendinginan menggunakan metode CLTD (Cooling Load Temperature Difference) berdasarkan ASHRAE Handbook Fundamental 1997. Perhitungan beban pendinginan berdasarkan data sekunder yang kemudian hasilnya dibandingkan dengan kapasitas beban pendinginan terpasang. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini diperoleh beban pendinginan maksimum pada kondisi puncak sebesar 794.004,52 Btu/hr (88,22 Pk), sedangkan kapasitas pendinginan yang terpasang adalah 89 Pk. Beban yang terpasang sesuai dengan hasil perhitungan ulang, maka celah penghematan masih bisa diperoleh sebesar 14,388 % dengan mengurangi faktor pencahayaan dari lampu; mengubah set point temperatur didalam ruangan; memperkecil SC (shading of Coefficien); dan mengurangi infiltrasi udara luar. Dari hasil analisis biaya, Break Event Point (BEP) akan diperoleh kembali pada pertengahan tahun ke lima.
