Implementasi Pengendali PLC Pada Sistem Motor Tiga Phasa Untuk Star Y/?

Abstract– Pada penelitian ini akan dioperasikan program start-delta pada motor induksi tiga phasa secara langsung dengan pengendali PLC (programmable logic control) pada skala laboratorium. Dalam menggerakkan motor induksi tiga phasa dengan hubungan star-delta, hubungan start dipastikan harus mati terlebih dahulu sebelum berpindah ke hubungan delta, agar motor tersebut tidak cepat mengalami kerusakan. Pada sistem pengendalian motor induksi tiga phasa untuk star-delta ini akan digunakan pengendali PLC dengan jenis Simatic S5-95U, yang di program menggunakan bahasa Step 5 dengan metoda pemrograman LAD (Ladder Diagram). PLC merupakan suatu elemen unit kendali dimana fungsi pengaturannya dapat diprogram sesuai dengan keperluan.Semakin besar arus listrik yang masuk pada kumparan, maka momen gaya yang terjadi akan semakin besar, sehingga gaya putar juga semakin besar, yang mengakibatkan putaran motor juga akan semakin cepat. Pada motor listrik dengan medan putar ini juga bisa terjadi pada kumparan stator yang dihubungkan dengan daya listrik phasa banyak, pada umumnya daya listrik tiga phasa dapat berupa hubungan star / delta.
