Kajian Unjuk Kerja Sistem Pneumatic Hydrolic Pada Komponen Katup Kontrol (Control Valve)

Abstract– Untuk keperluan proses suatu industri, komponen-komponen kendali tertentu selalu menggunakan sistem pneumatic, dimana menghasilkan daya dorong yang besar juga presisi, misalnya digunakan untuk mengatur aliran bahan kimia yang mudah terbakar, mengangkat barang yang berat, untuk menekan katup-katup kontrol, pemindahan barang dan sebagainnya. Penelitian ini akan mengamati prilaku komponen kendali katup kontrol yang menggunakan sistem pneumatic sebagai energi tekanannya, mengamati prilaku dinamik sistem pengaturan dengan tekanan komponen pneumatic terhadap masukan fungsi tangga (step function) dan sistem pengaturan berdasarkan titik kerja setiap komponen, serta menentukan konstanta waktu naik dan waktu stabilnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada simulasi control valve yang ada di laboratorium teknik kendali, Fakultas Teknik UNTAN. Secara umum dari hasil penelitian telah diketahui gerakan stem indicator pada katup kontrol (control valve), akan sangat dipengaruhi besar kecilnya tekanan udara, disamping juga mengetahui kurva karakteristik pneumatic yang diperoleh dari hubungan antara tekanan udara dan variabel pengaturan.. Dari kesemua hasil kajian ini akan merekomendasi penggunaan sistem pneumatic katup konrol (control valve) pada industri-industri yang bersesuaian secara efisien dan tepat sasaran, terutama industri proses yang memanfaatkan katup kontrol sebagai komponen utama pengendalian hasil industrinya, misal industri farmasi, industri makanan, maupun industri kimia lainnya.
