Gambaran tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa SMA di Kota Pontianak mengenai kanker orofaring terkait infeksi Human Papillomavirus

Latar belakang: Kanker orofaring merupakan penyakit menular seksual jika terkait infeksi Human Papillomavirus. Meningkatnya perilaku seks oral meningkatkan risiko terjadinya kanker orofaring, dan remaja berisiko terinfeksi kanker orofaring terkait HPV karena pergaulan bebas. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pontianak terdapat 155 waria dan 337 LSL (Laki-laki yang berhubungan seks dengan laki-laki) di Kota Pontianak sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya seks oral. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa SMA di Kota Pontianak mengenai pencegahan kanker orofaring terkait infeksi Human Papillomavirus. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif. Cara pemilihan sampel adalah probability sampling dengan menggunakan cluster sampling. Sebanyak 100 siswa SMA dari 6 kecamatan di Kota Pontianak mengisi kuesioner dan dianalisa menggunakan program komputer. Hasil: Tingkat pengetahuan siswa SMA di Kota Pontianak adalah 70% kurang dan sikap siswa SMA di Kota Pontianak adalah 97% positif. Kesimpulan: Siswa SMA di Kota Pontianak memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kurang dan sikap positif.References
