Abstract

This study observes the effect of using mobile applications on students English vocabulary achievement. In this study using 54 studies that’s related with the effect of using mobile applications. The research was conducted to find out whether learning through mobile apps can help students remember and use new words more effectively than traditional methods. One group of students received instruction through a vocabulary learning application, whereas the other group studied using standard classroom methods. The data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests. In the some of studies there are mentioned many topics that’s related with the effect of using mobile applications like the characteristics, types of mobile applications that’s commonly used, the effectiveness, and also about the usefulness. In addition, the results show that students who used the mobile application gained higher vocabulary scores and showed better motivation during learning. Overall, the study concludes that mobile applications give a positive effect on vocabulary learning and can be used as an effective supporting tool in English classes.
