Hubungan kadar CD4 terhadap kejadian infeksi oportunistik pada penderita HIV/AIDS di RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak tahun 2013

Latar belakang: HIV menyerang sistem kekebalan tubuh manusia yaitu limfosit CD4, sehingga semakin berkembangnya penyakit di tubuh, maka jumlah limfosit CD4 juga semakin menurun yang dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya infeksi oportunistik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar CD4 terhadap kejadian infeksi oportunistik. Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan studi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan di Klinik Melati RSUD dr. Soedarso kota Pontianak tahun 2013 dengan jumlah 85 sampel. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata kadar CD4 adalah 165 sel/ µl
dengan infeksi oportunistik yang tersering adalah tuberkulosis (27,9%), diikuti dengan diare (25,6%) dan kandidiasis orofarings (11,6%). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kadar CD4 terhadap kejadian infeksi oportunistik pada penderita HIV/AIDS di klinik melati RSUD dr. Soedarso kota Pontianak tahun 2013.
