Uji Efek Protektif Madu pada Jaringan Lambung Tikus Putih Galur Wistar yang Diberi Pajanan Aspirin

Abstract

Latar belakang: Peptic Ulcer Disease (PUD) adalah kerusakan mukosa lambung yang menembus hingga bawah epitel. Madu mengandung flavonoid yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan, anti-inflamasi, dan antimikroba. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efek protektif madu terhadap histopatologi lambung tikus yang dipapar aspirin. Metode: Digunakan desain randomized post-test-only control group dengan 30 tikus jantan Wistar yang dibagi menjadi lima kelompok: kontrol normal, kontrol negatif (aspirin saja), kontrol positif (aspirin + sukralfat), KP1 (aspirin + madu 1,55 mg/kgBB), dan KP2 (aspirin + madu 3,1 mg/kgBB). Aspirin diberikan secara oral selama 7 hari, diikuti pemberian madu atau pembanding satu jam kemudian. Penilaian histopatologi lambung dilakukan setelah perlakuan. Hasil: Semua kelompok perlakuan menunjukkan kerusakan jaringan lambung yang lebih ringan dan signifikan dibanding kontrol negatif (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Madu memiliki efek protektif terhadap jaringan lambung tikus yang terpapar aspirin.
