The purpose of this study was to determine the: 1). How is the role of parent in improving students learning outcomes. 2). What problem of parents and teachers in improving student learning outcomes, 3). What attempts by parents and teacher to overcome obstacles in improving student learning outcomes,. Research method used is descriptive. Data collection instruments are observation, interviews, and document. The result of this study indicate that: 1) the parents in guiding study to learn its still not optimal, 2). Problems faced by parents at home are busy, parent do not have the time, 3). The efforts of parent in guiding children need spesial guidance to study.
