Crimes that occur in society are mostly associated with social life and are discussed through the customary system. One of them is resolved through customary law related to criminology. In this case, it will make us understand in solving crime cases based on customs that developed in these community groups. The research used is a literature study or literature review by collecting theories that are relevant to the research problem, making it easier for the author to collect data and the reader can trust the data obtained by the author. The research shows that this case was sentenced according to the local customary system. From the results of the study concluded that the sanctions for the crime of murder in the customary law of the Dayak tribe are carried out in accordance with the agreement stated in the customary law.
