Abstract

Diklat basic safety training merupakan pelatihan keselamatan yang bertujuan melatih keterampilan bagi peserta untuk dapat mengetahui, memahami, dan bertindak dalam upaya meminimalisir kecelakaan yang mungkin saja terjadi di atas kapal. Saat ini dalam melayani proses pendaftaran terdapat dua pilihan yaitu calon pendaftar dapat mendatangi langsung ke lokasi penyelenggaraan diklat yaitu ke bagian humas SUPM Pontianak dan pilihan pendaftaran berikutnya calon pendaftar dapat melakukan pendaftaran secara online menggunakan google form. Pada saat proses pendaftaran berlangsung tidak jarang masih terdapat permasalahan dalam proses pemberkasan baik dalam proses pendaftaran langsung maupun pendaftaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan aplikasi berbasis website untuk pendaftaran diklat basic safety training dengan tujuan agar mempermudah dalam proses pendaftaran serta mengakses informasi layanan diklat menjadi lebih cepat serta menggunakan bantuan whatsapp gateway agar mempermudah dalam proses pemberitahuan informasi dalam bentuk pesan kepada peserta saat proses pendaftaran diklat. Penelitian ini menggunakan model prototyping sebagai metode pengembangan sistem. Untuk menguji keberhasilan dalam aplikasi ini dilakukan pengujian black-box and user acceptance test (UAT). Pengujian black-box memberikan hasil positif yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi bekerja dengan baik, sedangkan pengujian user acceptance test (UAT) dengan penilaian skala likert kepada ketiga pengguna yaitu petugas layanan nilai persentase 92,70% dengan hasil sangat setuju, peserta nilai persentase 88,89% dengan hasil sangat setuju, dan ketua USKKP dengan nilai persentase 78,58% dengan hasil setuju. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian masing-masing pengguna bahwa aplikasi yang dibangun layak untuk diterapkan.
