GAMBARAN STIGMA MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENDERITA SKIZOFRENIA DI KOTA PONTIANAK

Latar Belakang: Stigma masyarakat merupakan satu diantara beberapa faktor yang melatarbelakangi diskriminasi yang dialami oleh penderita skizofrenia dan mantan pasien gangguan jiwa. Metode: Desain kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Total 400 responden diambil dengan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner demografi dan Community Attitudes toward Mental Illness (CAMI) secara online. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif statistik frekuensi dan explore untuk menentukan nilai median. Hasil: Domain otoriterisme menunjukkan skor terendah dan serupa dengan domain pembatasan sosial yaitu median 29,00 dengan IQR 5, sedangkan domain kebajikan menunjukkan skor median tertinggi yaitu 35,00 dengan IQR 5, kemudian diikuti oleh domain ideologi komunitas kesehatan mental dengan skor median 34,00 dengan IQR 5, stigma masyarakat memperoleh skor median tinggi yaitu 128,00 dengan IQR 8.
Kesimpulan : Skor total stigma yang tinggi dengan domain kebajikan memperoleh skor tertinggi. Artinya, stigma masyarakat kurang di Kota Pontianak. Sikap paling umum digunakan oleh masyarakat adalah baik, simpatik, serta humanistik terhadap penderita skizofrenia.
