POLA TABUHAN GONG PANGKAK LUMPANG PADA RITUAL ADAT DAYAK SUHAID DESA BATI

This research analyzes the Pangkak Lumpang Gong Beating Pattern in the Dayak Suhaid Traditional Ritual. The formulation of the problem in this research is 1) the history of the music of the Pangkak Lumpang Beating Pattern, 2) the Form of the Pangkak Lumpang Beating Pattern, and 3) the Musical Function of the Pangkak Lumpang. Beating PatternThis research uses a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research and uses a MUSICHOLOGY approach. The data sources in this research are Sekelin Jambi and Agus. The data in this research are the results of interviews and observations in the form of sound recordings, photographs and videos regarding the Pangkak Lumpang Gong Beating Pattern in the Dayak Suhaid Traditional Ritual. Data collection techniques use observation techniques, interviews and documentation results. The technique for testing data validity uses Trigulation (Source Trigulation). The results of the research are the history of the formation of the Pangkak Lumpang Tabuhan Pattern, the shape of the Pangkak Lumpang Tabuhan Pattern, and the function of the Pangkak Lumpang Tabuhan Pattern music. It is hoped that the results of this research will increase the knowledge of the wider community.
