Uji Beberapa Dosis Pupuk Kandang Kotoran Bebek dan Pupuk NPK terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Melon Tanah Gambut

Abstract

The growth and production of Melons (Cucumis melo L) on peat soil in West Kalimantan is still very low, one of which is due to low soil pH and lack of nutrient availability for plants. The addition of duck manure fertilizer is expected to increase melon growth and production. This research aims to obtain the interaction dose of duck drum fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of melons on peat soil. The research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, namely the administration of Duck Manure (B) and NPK Fertilizer (P) each with 3 levels of treatment. Treatment of Duck Manure Manure (B) consisted of b1=10 tonnes. /ha is equivalent to 250 g/polybag, b2=20 tons/ha is equivalent to 500 g/polybag, b3=30 tons/ha is equivalent to 750 g/polybag. NPK (P) fertilizer consists of p1=300 kg/ha equivalent to 10.71 g/plant, p2=400 kg/ha equivalent to 14.29 g/plant, p3=500 kg/ha equivalent to 17.86 g/ plant. The research results showed that the application of Duck Manure at a dose of 30 tons/ha and NPK Fertilizer at a dose of 300 kg/ha was effective in increasing the growth and yield of melons on peat soil.
