THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE ON THE TURNOVER INTENTION THROUGH JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLES OF EMPLOYEES PT. AGRINDO PRIMA NIAGA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Organizational Climate directly on Turnover Intention and indirectly through Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Agriindo Prima Niaga. Path analysis research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direction of the variables studied and to justify how significant the influence of independent and dependent variables is, either directly or indirectly through moderating variables. The results of the study which were taken through distributing questionnaires to 126 samples were processed using a computer application program and through path analysis showed the results that the Organizational Climate variable had a significant positive effect on direct job satisfaction of employees. Organizational climate has a direct and significant negative effect on Turnover Intention. The variable of job satisfaction on Turnover Intention has a significant negative effect on Turnover Intention. Through the moderation of Job Satisfaction, Organizational Climate indirectly still has a significant negative effect on Turnover Intention.
