Abstract

ABSTRACT Leader behavior and employee organizational behavior play an important role in improving the performance of Puskesmas employees in Pontianak City. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of initiating structure leadership and servant leadership on the performance of employees in Puskesmas of Pontianak with organizational citizenship behavior as a mediating variable. The type of descriptive and causal research with the research method used is explanatory research. The population in this study were employees of the Puskesmas in Pontianak, amounting to 100 people. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The data analysis technique uses SmartPLS 3.3. The results showed that initiating structure leadership and servant leadership has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Initiating structure leadership and servant leadership has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational citizenship behavior has no significant effect on employee performance. Organizational citizenship behavior is not proven to mediate the effect of initiating structure leadership and servant leadership on employee performance.
