THE EFFECT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT AND WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH JOB STRESS AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE (CASE STUDY OF PERUMDA AIR MINUM TIRTA KHATULISTIWA)
Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Work Environment (WE) and Work-Family Conflict (WFC) on Employee Performance (EP) with Job Stress (JS) as an intervening variable. The sample were the employees of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Khatulistiwa with a total of 123 employees. The technique in sampling uses the nonprobability purposive sampling technique. The data collected is then processed and tested using SMART-PLS with Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis method. The results show that the effect of the WE on JS is significant and negative, the effect of WFC on JS is significant and positive, the effect of the WE on EP is significant and positive, the effect of WFC on EP is significant and negative, the effect of JS on the EP is insignificant and positive, the effect of WE on EP through JS is insignificant and negative, the effect of WFC on EP through JS is insignificant and positive.
