Abstract

Abstrak- berdasarkan data real di lapangan pada tanggal 20 Januari 2013 pukul 11.17 WIB terjadi gangguan PMT 150 KV Gardu Induk Siantan. Sehingga mengakibatkan island operation antara sistem bus I dan bus II 20 KV GI Siantan. Maka pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi terhadap kinerja sinkron 20 KV Gardu Induk Siantan, yang dimulai dengan penelusuran literatur yang sesuai dengan sistem sinkron yang ada, dilanjutkan dengan melakukan evaluasi tentang kinerja sistem sinkron yang ada dengan melihat kondisi pola operasi sebelum gangguan, setelah gangguan dan arus sirkulasi yang dimungkinkan terjadi pada PMT Bus Coupler 20 KV GI Siantan ketika dimasukan tanpa sinkron serta kondisi ideal menggunakan modifikasi rangkaian sinkron.
