HEALTH LEVEL ANALYSIS OF THE BANK BY USING RGEC METHOD AT PERSERO GENERAL BANK IN INDONESIA THAT REGISTERED IN AUTHORITY OF FINANCE SERVICES IN 2015-2019

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach was to determine the health level of the bank by using the RGEC method at Persero General Bank that registered in the authority of finance service from 2015-2019. The research type that used in this research was descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The RGEC method assessment consists of four factors, Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital. Risk Profile consists of credit risk and liquidity risk. Credit risk is measured with LDR. GCG factor is measured with GCG composite rank based on company Self Assessment, Earnings factor is measured with the ratio of ROA and NIM, the Capital factor is counted with CAR ratio. The result of this research showed that during 2015-2019, Persero general bank from Risk Profile aspect with NPL ratio is in healthy condition and with LDR ratio is in a quite healthy condition in 2016-2017, and unhealthy in 2015 and 2018-2019. GCG aspect during 2015-2019 is in healthy condition. Earning aspect with ROA ratio and NIM ratio during 2015-2019 is in very healthy condition. Capital aspect with CAR ratio during 2015-2019 is in very healthy condition.
