THE INFLUENCE OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND GROSS FIXED CAPITAL FORMATION (PMTB) ON LABOR PRODUCTIVITY IN WEST KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of education, health, and gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) on labor productivity in 14 districts and cities of West Kalimantan Province from 2017 to 2021. This research is a quantitative study that was analyzed using Eviews 10 using data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The method used is multiple linear regression testing with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Partly, the education variable has a negative but not significant effect on labor productivity, the health variable has a negative and not significant effect on labor productivity, and the gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) variable has a positive and significant effect on labor productivity. Simultaneously, education, health, and PMTB have a significant effect on labor productivity.
