FAKTOR RISIKO KANKER PAYUDARA DI RSUD DR. SOEDARSO PONTIANAK

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer incidence are numerous in many countries,
including Indonesia. The main causes of breast cancer is unknown, but
various kinds of risk factor have been known associated with the incidence
of breast cancer.
Objective: To Identify the risk factors of breast cancer in dr. Soedarso
hospital Pontianak.
Method: This study is a descriptive observational study with a
retrospective approach. This study was conducted at the clinic of surgery
and surgical ward of dr. Soedarso hospital Pontianak from Desember1
2011 until February 27
th
2012. The Data were collected from 70 samples
using a list of interview questions.
Results: The most common age group who suffer breast cancer is 39-45
years old as many as 21 patients.
Conclusion: The most common age group affected was women aged 3945

years by 30%. Breast cancer risk factors in Dr. Soedarso hospital
Pontianak is commonly found in the family with breast cancer (51.4%),
early age of menarche (68.6%), and nulliparous (34.3%). Breast cancer
patients in Dr. Soedarso Hospital Pontianak mostly come from Pontianak
City (62.9%).
