PENGGUNAAN SPESIMEN HERBARIUM TUMBUHAN TINGKAT TINGGI (SPERMATOPHYTA) SEBAGAI MEDIA PRAKTIKUM MORFOLOGI TUMBUHAN

Abstract

Spesimen herbarium tumbuhan tingkat tinggi dibuat untuk media alat bantu praktikum pada mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan yang bertujuan untuk membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan praktikum. Dengan adanya spesimen, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran pada mata kuliah morfologi tumbuhan. Pembuatan spesimen herbarium ini, materinya mengacu pada silabus mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan.  Jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang akan dibuat spesimennya adalah jenis-jenis  tumbuhan yang mewakili famili-famili dari  subdivisi Gymnospermae dan jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang mewakili famili-famili dari subdivisi Angiospermae. Dengan adanya spesimen herbarium dapat menjadi alternatif untuk ketersediaan media praktikum setiap saat tanpa tergantung waktu. Spesimen herbarium yang dibuat terdiri atas 7 Famili tumbuhan Gymnospermae dan 33 Famili tumbuhan Angiospermae. Keberhasilan pembuatan spesimen herbarium ditentukan oleh tahap-tahap kerja yang benar, baik di lapangan maupun di laboratorium.
