AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN HASIL KROMATOGRAFI VAKUM CAIR FRAKSI METANOL KULIT BATANG CERIA (Baccaurea hookeri)
Abstract
Fraksi metanol kulit batang ceria (Baccaurea hookeri) telah diketahui memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan fraksi metanol kulit batang ceria hasil kromatografi vakum cair (KVC). Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode DPPH. Hasil uji aktivitas antioksidan fraksi metanol memiliki kemampuan menghambat radikal bebas DPPH dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 9,265 µg/mL. Hasil uji fitokimia menunjukkan fraksi metanol hasil KVC mengandung golongan senyawa polifenol dan terpenoid. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa fraksi metanol kulit batang ceria hasil KVC berpotensi kuat sebagai antioksidan, namun masih lebih rendah dibandingkan asam askorbat yang memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 6,607 µg/mL.
