AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DAN KANDUNGAN TOTAL FENOL FRAKSI ETIL ASETAT BUAH PALASU (Mangifera caesia Jack)
Abstract
Buah palasu (Mangifera caesia Jack) diketahui memiliki aktivitas antioksidan berdasarkan uji kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan dan kandungan total fenol fraksi etil asetat buah palasu. Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode DPPH dan penentuan kandungan total fenol fraksi dilakukan dengan metode Follin-Ciocalteau. Nilai IC50 fraksi etil asetat buah palasu diperoleh sebesar 170,63 mg/L. Total fenol fraksi etil asetat dari buah palasu sebesar 0,01952 mg/gr ekivalen asam tanat. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa buah palasu berpotensi sebagai sumber antioksidan.
