Aktivitas Antirayap Minyak Atsiri Kulit Buah Jeruk Bali (Citrus maxima (Burm.) Merr.) Terhadap Rayap Coptotermes sp.
Abstract
Tanaman Jeruk Bali (Citrus maxima (Burm.) Merr.) famili Rutaceae merupakan salah satu tanaman penghasil minyak atsiri terutama pada bagian kulit buahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas minyak atsiri kulit buah jeruk bali (C. maxima (Burm.) Merr.) sebagai antirayap terhadap rayap Coptotermes sp. dengan uji penghambatan makan yang dilakukan selama 7 hari. Minyak atsiri kulit buah jeruk bali (C. maxima (Burm.) Merr.) diperoleh dengan metode destilasi uap yang dilakukan selama 4 jam. Rendemen minyak atsiri kulit buah jeruk bali (C. maxima (Burm.) Merr.) diperoleh sebesar 0,2%. Hasil identifikasi GC-MS menunjukkan bahwa minyak atsiri kulit buah jeruk bali (C. maxima (Burm.) Merr.) mengandung senyawa terbesar dl-limonen (41,98%) dan senyawa lain yaitu β-mirsen (15,34%),(E,E,E)-3,7,11,15-Tetrametil hexadeka 1,3,6,10,14-pentena (2,07%), δ-elemen (2,05%), dan Germakren D (0,78%). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan minyak atsiri kulit buah jeruk bali (C. maxima (Burm.) Merr.) berpotensi sebagai antirayap dengan konsentrasi 8% sudah tergolong memiliki aktivitas antirayap yang sangat kuat terhadap rayap Coptotermes sp. dan menyebabkan mortalitas rayap sebesar 97,33%.
