VALIDASI METODE PENGUKURAN KADAR ASAM HUMAT HASIL EKSTRAKSI KALIUM HIDROKSIDA DENGAN SPEKTROFOTOMETRI ULTRAVIOLET
Abstract
Tersedianya tanah gambut yang luas membuka peluang untuk mengisolasi asam humat dan melakukan validasi penentuan kadar asam humat. Pengukuran kadar asam humat hasil ekstraksi diambil dari tanah gambut asal Kalimantan Barat. Ekstraksi asam humat didasarkan pada metode ekstraksi basa menggunakan 0,1 M KOH dan dikarakterisasi dengan spektrofotometer inframerah. Penentuan asam humat hasil ekstraksi dianalisis menggunakan spektrofotometer ultraviolet pada panjang gelombang 219 nm. Validasi metode penentuan kadar asam humat mempunyai linearitas yang baik dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,997, akurasi sebesar 1,76%-5,66%, presisi sebesar 1,655%-5,085%, LOD 1,2mg/L, LOQ 3,9 mg/L. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kadar asam humat sebesar 0,0356 %. Hasil karakterisasi FTIR asam humat hasil ekstraksi menghasilkan munculnya spektrum IR pada daerah 3410 cm-1, 2924 cm-1, 1712 cm-1, 1620 cm-1, 1419 cm-1, 1381 cm-1, dan daerah 1250 cm-1. Hal ini menandakan karakreristik asam humat hasil ekstraksi relatif tidak jauh berbeda dengan asam humat standar.
