SINTESIS KOMPOSIT POLIMER KONDUKTIF POLIPIROL (PPy)/SELULOSA BAKTERI DENGAN METODE SPRAY DAN RENDAM
Abstract
Sintesis komposit polimer konduktif PPy/selulosa bakteri telah berhasil dilakukan dengan metode spray dan metode rendam. Sintesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan pirol 0,5 M, inisiator FeCl3.6H2O 0,5 M serta dopan HCl 0,6 M. Komposit PPy/selulosa bakteri dikarakterisasi dengan instrumen Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), four point probe dan Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR). Komposit PPy/selulosa bakteri hasil sintesis dengan metode spray menunjukkan morfologi yang berpori. Konduktivitas hasil sintesis PPy/selulosa bakteri dengan metode spray sebesar 0,52 x 10-2 S.m-1 dan konduktivitas hasil sintesis PPy/selulosa bakteri dengan metode rendam sebesar 7,87 x 10-2 S.m-1. Hasil FTIR komposit PPy/selulosa bakteri menunjukkan adanya serapan karakteristik polipirol yaitu 1539 cm-1 (C=C), 1424 cm-1 (C-N) untuk metode spray serta 1526 cm-1 (C=C), 1444 cm-1 (C-N) untuk metode rendam. Serapan karakteristik dari selulosa bakteri muncul pada 3337 cm-1 (O-H), 2918 cm-1 (C-H) dan 1039 cm-1 (C-O-C) untuk metode spray serta 3073 cm-1 (O-H), 2904 cm-1 (C-H) dan 1019 cm-1 (C-O-C) untuk metode rendam. Komposit PPy/selulosa bakteri yang disintesis tergolong bahan semikonduktor.
