ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASISENYAWA TERPENOID EKSTRAK KLOROFORM KULIT BIJI PINANG SIRIH (Areca Catechu L)
Abstract
Isolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder pada ekstrak kulit biji pinang sirih (Areca Catechu L) dilakukan untuk menentukan golongan senyawa isolat. Proses isolasi dilakukan dengan metode sokletasi, kromatografi lapis tipis, kromatografi vakum cair, kromatografi lapis tipis preparatif, dan kromatografi lapis tipis 2 dimensi, dan dikarakterisasi menggunakan metode uji fitokimia. Hasil kromatografi vakum cair menghasilkan 11 fraksi, dengan fraksi B1terdapat spot yang hampir tunggal. Uji kemurnian senyawa diperoleh dari uji KLT preparatif dan KLT 2 dimensi, serta dianalisis dengan menyemprotkan reagen Lieberman Burchard sehingga tampak noda berwarna merah kecoklat-coklatan yang menandakan isolat tersebut mengandung senyawa terpenoid dengan massa yang diperoleh sebesar 0,0073 gram
