KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA TRITERPENOID DARI KULIT AKAR JABON ( Anthocephalus cadamba (Roxb.) Miq.)
Abstract
Jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba (Roxb.) Miq.) adalah pohon besar dengan mahkota berbentuk payung yang luas dan batang silinder dengan cabang-cabang yang khas. Beberapa bagian tanaman Jabon (A. cadamba) telah digunakan untuk penyembuhan luka, antioksidan, dan aktivitas antimalaria.Senyawa triterpenoid diisolasi dari fraksi etanol pada kulit akar Jabon (A. cadamba) Tahapan isolasi senyawa triterpenoid adalah ekstraksi, fraksinasi, kromatografi vakum cair (KVC), dan kromatografi kolom gravitasi (KKG). Analisis isolat ditentukan menggunakan proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR) (500 MHz). Pergeseran kimia senyawa triterpenoid δH (ppm): 0,9 (2H,m) ; 1,3 (9H,d, J=7,05Hz) ; 1,6 (7H,m,) ; 2,02 (1H,m) ; 2,32 (2H,m) ; 3,98 (1H,s) ; 4,29 (3H,m) ; dan 7,5 (1H,s). Berdasarkan data spektrum 1H-NMR dan uji fitokimia dengan reagen Lieberman-Burchard diketahui bahwa kulit akar jabon terkandung senyawa triterpenoid.
