IDENTIFIKASI ISOLAT AKTINOMISETES YANG DIISOLASI DARI TANAH GAMBUT PONTIANAK UTARA
Abstract
Telah dilakukan isolasi dan identifikasi isolat aktinomisetes dari tanah gambut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh dan mengidentifikasi isolat aktinomisetes. Isolat aktinomisetes diinokulasikan ke media ISP2 dengan menggunakan metode tuang dan dimurnikan dengan media yang sama hingga diperoleh 1 isolat murni dengan kode FAI2. Isolat aktinomisetes tersebut diidentifikasi dengan mengikuti panduan dari Bergey"™s Determinative Bacteriology menggunakan dua metode yaitu: pewarnaan Gram dan slide culture. Hasil pewarnaan Gram menunjukkan bahwa isolat adalah bakteri Gram positif berbentuk batang dan bewarna ungu. Hasil slide culture menunjukkan bahwa isolat mempunyai karakteristik dengan streptomyces. Berdasarkan hasil pewarnaan Gram dan slide culture diperoleh satu isolat aktinomisetes dengan kode FAI2 yang merupakan bakteri Gram positif bewarna ungu dengan genus Streptomyces.
