UJI AKTIVITAS BIOTERMITISIDA MINYAK ATSIRI DAUN Citrus nobilis Lour TERHADAP RAYAP TANAH (Coptotermes curvignathus sp)
Abstract
Daun Citrus nobilis Lour diekstraksi untuk mendapatkan minyak atsiri dengan metode destilasi uap dengan suhu 95OC. Identifikasi Kromatografi Gas Spektrometri Massamenunjukkan 44 komponen penyusun minyak atsiri C. nobilis Lour dimana komponen utamanya adalah Limonen (14,08%). Rendemen minyak atsiri daun C. nobilis Lour yaitu 0,431%.Minyak atsiri diujikan sebagai biotermitisida terhadap rayap tanah (Coptotermes curvignathus sp). Hasil uji dilakukan selama 7 hari menunjukan bahwa minyak atsiri bersifat toksik terhadap rayap dengan konsentrasi 20% dengan mortalitas 100% pada hari ke-4. Semakin tinggi penambahan konsentrasi minyak atsiri, maka mortalitas meningkat seiring dengan penurunan persentase kehilangan berat kertas uji. Persentase pengurangan berat kertas uji yang telah ditetesi minyak atsiri pada 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% dan fipronil (kontrol positif) berturut-turut adalah 19,16%, 14,87%, 11,78%, 0,51%, 0%, 0%, dan 0%.
