UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN METODE DPPH DAN UJI SITOTOKSIK METODE BSLT PADA EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN BONGKAL(Nuacleasubdita (Korth) Steud)

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang uji aktivitas antioksidan dan uji sitotoksik dari ekstrak daun bongkal (Nauclea Subdita(Korth) Steud). Ekstrak metanol daun bongkal diperoleh dari hasil ekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol. Ekstrak metanol dipekatkan menggunakan rotary evaporator kemudian dilakukan pengujian skrining fitokimia, uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH, danuji sitotoksik menggunakan metode BSLT. Hasil skrining fitokimia menunjukkan ekstrak metanol daun bongkal mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid dan polifenol. Uji aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan pada panjang gelombng 515nm menghasilkan nilai IC50 sebesar 10 ppm. Uji aktivitas sitotoksik menghasilkan nilai LC50 sebesar 327 ppm. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkanbahwa daun bongkal mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan alami.
