Peran kelompok tani lestari dalam pengelolaan dan pendapatan madu lebah hutan (apis dorsata) desa Sungai Radak Dua Kecamatan Terentang Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Sustainable management of forest honey requires the role of an organization in the form of a farmer group, so that it can maintain the quality standard of forest honey in terms of its naturalness and preserve the Silang tree. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the role of farmer groups in forest honey management (2) to calculate the percentage contribution of forest honey income to the total household income of sustainable farmer groups. The research was conducted in Sungai Radak Dua Village, Terentang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The method used is survey with interview technique, respondent selection using census technique. The results of the study reveal the role of farmer groups in forest honey management, namely: as a learning class to increase farmers' knowledge, a vehicle for cooperation as a means of mutual cooperation and production units as a driver of production of forest honey bee farming. The contribution of forest bee honey farming to the total household income of members of the sustainable farmer group is 36.63%.

Abstrak

Pengelolaan madu hutan secara lestari memerlukan peran dari suatu organisasi berbentuk kelompok tani, sehingga dapat menjaga standar kualitas madu hutan dari sisi kealamiannya serta menjaga kelestarian pohon sialang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui peran kelompok tani dalam pengelolaan madu hutan (2) menghitung persentase kontribusi pendapatan madu hutan terhadap pendapatan total rumah tangga kelompok tani lestari. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sungai Radak Dua Kecamatan Terentang Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode yang digunakan survey dengan teknik wawancara, pemilihan responden dengan teknik sensus. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan peran kelompok tani dalam pengelolaan madu hutan yaitu: sebagai kelas belajar meningkatkan pengetahuan petani, wahana kerjasama sebagai sarana gotong-royong dan unit produksi sebagai pendorong produksi usahatani madu lebah hutan. Kontribusi dari usahatani madu lebah hutan terhadap total pendapatan rumah tangga anggota kelompok tani lestari adalah sebesar 36,63%.
