PERSEPSI PENGUNJUNG TERHADAP OBJEK TAMAN WISATA BAHARI DI DESA JAWAI LAUT KECAMATAN JAWAI SELATAN KABUPATEN SAMBAS

Abstract
The marine tourism park is a new tourist destination and icon in the Sambas district. This study aims to describe the perception of visitors and explain the relationship of individual factors (age, education, knowledge and pocket money) with the perception of visitors. This study uses a survey method, 135 respondents were determined using accidental sampling. Data analysis used descriptive analysis (chi square test), namely the analysis of the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable using a non-parametric statistical test (Pearson correlation). The perception of visitors to the object of the Marine Tourism Park is more likely to have a neutral perception, visitors who give a neutral assessment are visitors who do not take sides with one of the perceptions, both positive and negative perceptions. There is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and visitors' perceptions of the object of the Marine Tourism Park, while for the other independent variables there is no relationship. The results of the research that have been carried out concluded that the visitor's perception of the object of the Marine Tourism Park tends to be neutral.

Taman Wisata Bahari merupakan destinasi serta ikon wisata baru di Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pengunjung serta menjelaskan hubungan faktor individu (umur, pendidikan, pengetahuan dan uang saku) dengan persepsi pengunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 135 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif (uji chi square) yaitu analisis hubungan variabel terikat dan variabel bebas menggunakan uji statistik Non Parametrik (Kolerasi Pearson). Persepsi pengunjung terhadap objek Taman Wisata Bahari lebih cenderung mempunyai persepsi yang netral. Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan persepsi pengunjung terhadap objek Taman Wisata Bahari, sementara untuk variabel bebas umur, pendidikan dan uang saku tidak terdapat hubungan.
