Etnozoologi ritual adat, mistis dan pengobatan masyarakat Dayak Bakati di Desa Sinar Tebudak Kecamatan Tujuh Belas Kabupaten Bengkayang

Abstract

The Bakati Dayak community is very closely related to nature, where their lives are very dependent on nature. One of the natural products used by Dayak Bakati is the animals they use for various purposes such as customary, mystical and medicinal rituals. The purpose of this study is to examine the species of animals and how to use animals as customary, mystical and medicinal rituals by the community in Sinar Tebudak Village, Tujuh Belas District, Bengkayang Regency. The research was conducted in Sinar Tebudak Village, Tujuh Belas District, Bengkayang Regency. Data collection was carried out using the survey methodand interview techniques. Thedetermination of respondents was carried out by purposive sampling method.  The number of respondents was 20 people. The results showed that there were 11 species of animals belonging to 10 families. Based on class level, there are 7 classes, namely: Mammals, Aves, Reptiles, Insecta, Gastropods, Oligocheata, and Pisces. Animals used as traditional rituals as many as 3 animals, mystical as many as 4 animals, and treatment as many as 4 animals. The parts that the whole body utilizes, blood, flesh, and voice. The processing method is cooked, baked, dried, and drunk. And how it is used is eaten, brewed and drunk.
