Abstract

Dait Waterfall Nature Tourism is located in Landak Regency, Air Besar District, Sekendal Village, and is one of the Natural Tourism Objects in Landak Regency which has very unique natural beauty. Apart from being unique with seven levels, Dait Waterfall has a variety of flora and fauna. Each level has different potential. Levels one, two and five have white sand beaches and three, four, six and seven have fast flowing water and large rocks. Dait Waterfall is located in the Production Forest, Protected Forest and Gunung Niut Nature Reserve areas. The aim of this research is to determine the potential of Dait Waterfall and to use it as a Natural Tourism Interpretation of Dait Waterfall. The method used was descriptive tabulation, observation exploring the Dait Waterfall area as well as taking coordinate points and interviews using key respondents. The observation results showed that there were 7 levels of Dait Waterfall, 18 plants were found and 3 animals were found, the results of the observations were developed into 5 Nature Tourism interpretation routes, these routes were created based on research in the field. The distance from the entrance to Dait Waterfall is 20 km. The first interpretation route you take is a rubber plantation, oil palm plantation and other community plantations. The Dait Waterfall Nature Tourism Interpretation Trail is 1 km away and in the direction of the fishing trail, the Kalimantan endemic plant wildlife trail which is in the Dait Waterfall Interpretation Area.

Abstrak

Wisata Alam Air Terjun Dait terletak di Kabupaten Landak Kecamatan Air Besar Desa Sekendal, merupakan salah satu Objek Wisata Alam di Kabupaten Landak yang memiliki keindahan alam yang sangat unik. Air Terjun Dait selain memiliki keunikan dengan tujuh tingkat terdapat beranekaragam flora dan fauna. Setiap tingkat memiliki potensi yang berbeda pada tingkat satu, dua, dan lima terdapat pantai pasir putih dan tiga, empat, enam, dan tujuh terdapat air yang aliran arus deras dan berbatuan besar. Air Terjun Dait berada pada kawasan Hutan Produksi, Hutan Lindung dan Cagar Alam Gunung Niut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi Air Terjun Dait serta dijadikan Interpretasi Wisata Alam Air Terjun Dait. Metode yang digunakan tabulasi deskriptif, observasi menjelajah kawasan Air Terjun Dait serta pengambilan titik kordinat dan wawancara mengunakan responden kunci (key person). Hasil observasi terdapat 7 tingkat Ait Terjun Dait, 18 tumbuhan yang di temukan dan 3 hewan yang di temukan, hasil observasi dikembangkan menjai 5 jalur interpretasi Wisata Alam, jalur ini dibuat berdasarkan riset dilapangan. Jarak dari simpang masuk Air Terjun Dait berjarak 20 km, jalur interpretasi pertama yang dilalui terdapat kebun karet, kebun sawit dan tumbuhan tanaman masyarakat lainnya. Jalur Interpretasi Wisata Alam Air Terjun Dait berjarak 1 km dan searah jalur mancing, satwa liar jalur tumbuhan endemik Kalimantan yang berada pada Kawasan Interpretasi Air Terjun Dait.
