KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS ROTAN PADA KAWASAN HUTAN DESA TANJUNG KECAMATAN MENTEBAH KABUPATEN KAPUAS HULU

Abstract

The diversity of rattan species is a measure that states the variation of rattan species from a community that is influenced by the number and abundance of each species, rattan is one of the forest plants that has a fairly high commercial value, in addition to being a source of foreign exchange whose utilization involves many farmers. The purpose of this study was to record the diversity of rattan species in the Village forest area in Tanjung Village, Mentebah District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The method used in this study was a path or transect. The number of paths made was 4 observation paths with each path being 200 m long and 20 m wide. Based on the results of the analysis of the important value index (INP) data, it turns out that Korthalsia flagellaris Miq, the type of rattan with the highest value of INP = 97.13, is found in the Tanjung Village Forest area, Mentebah District, Kapuas Hulu Regency, the highest Dominance Index (C) value is found in Korthalsia flagellaris Miq Rattan of C = 0.27, the highest Diversity Index (H') is found in Korthalsia echinometra Becc Rattan of Hʹ = 0.35.F

Abstrak

Keanekaragaman jenis rotan adalah ukuran yang menyatakan variasi jenis rotan dari suatu komunitas yang dipengaruhi oleh jumlah dan kelimpahan dari masing-masing jenis, rotan merupakan salah satu tumbuhan hutan yang mempunyai nilai komersil cukup tinggi, selain sebagai sumber devisa negara yang pemanfaatannya banyak melibatkan petani. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendata keanekaragaman jenis-jenis rotan pada kawasan hutan Desa di Desa Tanjung, Kecamatan Mentebah, Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jalur atau transek. Jumlah jalur yang dibuat adalah sebanyak 4 jalur pengamatan dengan panjang masing-masing jalur 200 m dan lebar 20 m. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data indeks nilai penting (INP), ternyata Korthalsia flagellaris Miq jenis rotan yang memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar INP = 97,13 terdapat di kawasan Hutan Desa Tanjung Kecamatan Mentebah Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, nilai Indeks Dominansi (C) tertinggi terdapat pada Rotan Korthalsia flagellaris Miq sebesar C = 0,27, Indeks Keanekaragaman (H"™) tertinggi terdapat pada Rotan Korthalsia echinometra Becc sebesar Hʹ = 0,35.
