Keanekaragaman Jenis Gulma Tanaman Karet (Hevea brasiliensis) Di Dusun Doyot Kecamatan Lumar Kabupaten Bengkayang

Abstract

Weeds are nuisance plants around rubber cultivation plants, weeds have the ability to grow quickly and adapt to various environmental conditions including rubber plant areas. Weeds not only compete with rubber plants for nutrients, water, sunlight but can also interfere with the process of tapping latex and plant growth. This study aims to describe the diversity of rubber plant weed species in Doyot Hamlet, Lumar District, Bengkayang Regency. The research method used was a survey method with data collection techniques, namely random double plots and a total of 24 plots. The size of each plot is 2 m × 2 m. The results of the study found 27 weed species identified and included in 15 families, with a total of 317 individuals. Five types of weed species that have a high importance index are Cyperus rotundus 23.59%, Paspalum conjugatum 19.90%, Ageratum conyzoides 19.49%, Imperata cylindrica 16.83% and Daniella ensifolia 11.01%. The diversity index value obtained in the study was 2.9007 with a medium species diversity category. The weed dominance index value is 0.0720 which means there is no species that dominates the area.

Gulmaadalahtumbuhanpengganggudisekitartanamanbudidaya karet, gulma memiliki kemampuan tumbuh dengan cepat dan beradaptasi di berbagai kondisi lingkungan termasuk dikawasan tanaman karet. Gulma tidak hanya bersaing dengan tanaman karet unuk mendapatkan nutrisi, air, cahaya matahari tetapi juga dapat mengganggu proses penyadapan lateks dan pertumbuhan tanaman.
