KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS SEMUT (Formicidae) di RTH JOGING TRACK UNIVERSITAS TANJUNGPURA KOTA PONTIANAK

Abstract

Digulis garden is a green open space overgrown with various types of trees. In which there are woody green plants with trees as the main characteristic plants and other plants (shrubs, shrubs, grasses, and other ground cover plants), as complementary plants. The RTH is the habitat of various types of ants. The purpose of this study is to record the diversity of ant species and to provide information on the number of ant species that live in the jogging track area. The method used is the observation method, The sampling technique used in this study uses a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research in the RTH jogging track area were found 7 species in the subfamily Formicinae, Ponerinae, Myrmicinae.

Abstrak

Taman digulis merupakan ruang terbuka hijau yang ditumbuhi berbagai jenis pohon. yang di dalamnya terdapat tumbuh-tumbuhan hijau berkayu dengan pepohonan sebagai tumbuhan penciri utama dan tumbuhan lainnya (perdu, semak, rerumputan, dan tumbuhan penutup tanah lainnya), sebagai tumbuhan pelengkap. RTH tersebut merupakan habitat berbagai jenis semut. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendata keanekaragaman jenis semut dan untuk memberikan informasi jumlah spesies semut yang hidup diareal jogging track. Metoe yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi, Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dikawasan RTH jogging track yaitu ditemukan 7 spesies dalam subfamily Formicinae, Ponerinae, Myrmicinae.
