Identifikasi Jenis Kantong Semar (Nepenthes spp) di Kawasan Hutan Adat Bukit Samabue Kecamatan Menjalin Kabupaten Landak

The pitcher plant (Nepenthes spp.) is unique and distinctive. This uniqueness and peculiarity is found in the presence of a pouch which is a modification of the tip of the leaf, so this plant is called the Pitcher Plant. This research aims to identify species of pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp) in the Bukit Samabue Customary Forest area, Menjalin District. The research used survey method with data collection using a 5m x 5m double plot technique. The research found two species of pitcher plants, namely Nepenthes ampullaria Jack and Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce. The species of N. ampullaria Jack found has two different colors in its pouch, namely plain green and green with a red pattern. The species N. mirabilis (Lour) Druce is found in only one color: green. The largest number of individuals was the N. mirabilis (lour) Druce species with a total of 279 individuals, while the N. ampullaria Jack species numbered 230 individuals.

Kantong semar (Nepenthes spp.) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang unik dan khas. Keunikan dan kekhasan tersebut ditemui pada keberadaan kantong yang merupakan modifikasi dari bagian ujung daunnya, sehingga tumbuhan ini disebut dengan Pitcher Plant. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis kantong semar (Nepenthes spp) di kawasan Hutan Adat Bukit Samabue Kecamatan Menjalin. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik petak ganda

5m x 5m. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di kawasan Hutan Adat Bukit Samabue Kecamatan Menjalin Kabupaten Landak ditemukan dua jenis kantong semar, yaitu Nepenthes ampullaria Jack dan Nepenthes mirabilis (Lour) Druce. Jenis N. ampullaria Jack yang ditemukan memiliki dua warna yang berbeda pada kantongnya ada yang berwarna hijau polos dan hijau bercorak merah. Jenis N. mirabilis (Lour) Druce ditemukan hanya satu warna yaitu hijau. Jumlah individu terbanyak adalah jenis N. mirabilis (lour) Druce dengan jumlah sebanyak 279 individu, sedangkan jenis N. ampullaria Jack berjumlah 230 individu.
