Estimasi Karbon Pada Tegakan Hutan Mangrove Di Desa Padang Tikar 1 Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of looking at carbon stores in mangrove forest stands in Padang Tikar 1 Village, Kubu Raya Regency. Analysis of biomass and carbon content in mangrove forest stands uses a survey method using plotted paths. The laying of the research route was carried out systematically (systematic sampling). The research route is laid from the beach to the mainland. The number of research routes is made of 5 routes, with a distance between research routes of 100 meters. The path created in this research is 10 meters wide (5 m to the left, 5 m to the right). From this path, sub-plots are created with dimensions of 10 m x 10 m for the tree level, and 5 m x 5 m for the sapling level and 2 x 2 for the seedling level. The research results show that the amount of potential biomass stored at the tree level is 50 tonnes/ha and at the sapling level is 25.34 tonnes/ha. The potential for carbon stored at the tree level is 25 tons C/ha, while for the sapling level it is 12.67 tons C/ha. The total area of mangrove forests in Padang Tikar Village is 1 ± 21 ha, so the total carbon storage in the mangrove forest stands is 791.05 tons C.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk melihat simpanan karbon pada tegakan hutan mangrove di Desa Padang Tikar 1 Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Analisis biomasa, kandungan karbon pada tegakan hutan mangrove menggunakan metode survei dengan cara jalur berpetak. Peletakan jalur penelitian dilakukan secara sistematik (sistematik sampling). Peletakan jalur penelitian diletakan dari pinggir pantai hingga mengarah ke daratan. Jumlah jalur penelitian dibuat sebanyak 5 jalur, dengan Jarak antar jalur penelitian 100 meter. Jalur yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini dengan lebar 10 meter (5 m ke kiri 5 m ke kanan). Dari jalur tersebut dibuat sub-petak dengan ukuran 10 m x 10 m untuk tingkat pohon, dan 5 m x 5 m untuk tingkat pancang dan 2 x 2 untuk tingkat semai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah potensi biomasa tersimpan pada tingkat pohon sebesar 50 ton/ha dan pada tingkat pancang sebesar 25,34 ton/ha. Potensi karbon tersimpan untuk tingkat pohon sebesar 25 ton C/ha, sedangkan untuk tingkat pancang sebesar 12,67 ton C/ha. Luas total hutan mangrove di Desa Padang Tikar 1 ± 21 ha, maka total simpanan karbon pada tegakan hutan mangrove tersebut adalah sebesar 791,05 ton C.
