Pendugaan Karbon Tersimpan pada Tegakan di Lingkungan Kampus Baru Fakultas Kehutanan dan Kebun Pendidikan Penelitian Wisata Universitas Tanjungpura

Abstract
The carbon stock stored in forest biomass and its changes, both carbon lost due to deforestation and forest degradation, or the accumulation of additional carbon from growth, regeneration of natural forests or from afforestation and deforestation activities need to be measured and monitored because changes in carbon stocks will affect carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. The purpose of this research is to calculate the trees carbon stocks using allometric comparisons of Hardiansyah (2011), Chave et al. (2005), Brown (1997) and Ketterings et al. (2001). This research was conducted using a census (sampling intensity 100%) method using non-destructive sampling in the New Campus of the Faculty of Forestry (6.29 hectares) and the Education, Research and Tourism Garden (16.94 hectares) of Tanjungpura University. The results of the trees inventory showed that the number of trees belonging to the large trees category was 1,457 trees and the small trees category was 2,676 trees. The total of trees is 4,133 trees consisting of 60 species from 25 famili. The total of trees is 4,133 trees consisting of 60 species from 25 famili. In the research results, the estimated of stocks carbon based on the allometric equation calculation by Hardiansyah (2011) was 54.2 Tons/Ha; Chave et al. (2005) of 64.4 Tons/Ha; Brown (1997) of 74.5 Tons/Ha and Ketterings et al. (2001) of 51.6 Tons/Ha. Allometric equations Ketterings et al. (2001) is in the lowest value category and Brown (1997) alometric equations is in the highest value category.

Stok karbon yang tersimpan dalam biomassa hutan dan perubahannya, baik karbon yang hilang akibat deforestasi dan degradasi hutan, atau terjadinya akumulasi penambahan karbon dari pertumbuhan, regenerasi hutan alam maupun dari kegiatan aforestasi dan deforestasi perlu diukur dan dipantau karena perubahan stok karbon akan berpengaruh terhadap konsentrasi karbondioksida di atmosfer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui total nilai karbon yang tersimpan pada tegakan dengan perbandingan alometrik Hardiansyah (2011), Chave et al. (2005), Brown (1997) dan Ketterings et al. (2001). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode sensus (intensitas sampling 100%) dengan cara non destructive sampling di areal Kampus Baru Fakultas Kehutanan (6,29 Hektar) dan Kebun Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Wisata (16,94 Hektar) Universitas Tanjungpura. Hasil inventarisasi tegakan, jumlah tegakan yang tergolong dalam kategori pohon besar berjumlah 1.457 tegakan dan kategori pohon kecil berjumlah 2.676 tegakan. Jumlah keseluruhan tegakan pohon sebanyak 4.133 tegakan terdiri dari 60 spesies dari 25 famili.
Pada hasil penelitian pendugaan nilai karbon tersimpan berdasarkan perhitungan persamaan alometrik Hardiansyah (2011) sebesar 54,2 Ton/Ha; Chave et al. (2005) sebesar 64,4 Ton/Ha; Brown (1997) sebesar 74,5 Ton/Ha dan Ketterings et al. (2001) sebesar 51,6 Ton/Ha. Persamaan alometrik Ketterings et al. (2001) tergolong dalam kategori nilai terendah dan persamaan alometrik Brown (1997) tergolong dalam kategori nilai tertinggi.
