Persepsi Kelompok Tani Hutan Kabu"™ Madu Jaya Terhadap Pengelolaan Lebah Madu Kelulut Di Desa Pahauman Kecamatan Sengah Temila Kabupaten Landak

Abstract

The interest of the Forest farmer group members has decreased, thus affecting the cultivation of stingless bee honey. The purpose of this study was to describe the perception of the Kabu' Madu Jaya forest farmer group towards the management of stingless bee honey in Pahauman Village, Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency and to explain the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of income. The research method used was the survey method, sampling respondents using census techniques, and data collection through interviews and observations. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive. The study showed that the perception of the forest farmer group on average was 3.39 with a sufficient category because the management of stingless bee honey was not optimal, especially in the process of care and production of honey. There was a significant positive relationship between the perception of the management of stingless bee honey and the level of knowledge and there was an insignificant positive relationship between the perception of the management of stingless bee honey and the level of income. The management of stingless bee honey can be developed by considering the contribution in the form of assistance and donations in the form of flowering plants from the authorities. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan persepsi kelompok tani hutan Kabu"™ Madu Jaya terhadap pengelolaan lebah madu kelulut di Desa Pahauman Kecamatan Sengah Temila Kabupaten Landak dan menjelaskan hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat pendapatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei, pengambilan sampel responden secara teknik sensus, dan pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kelompok tani hutan rata-rata total yaitu 3,39 dengan kategori cukup karena pengelolaan madu kelulut belum maksimal khususnya dalam proses perawatan dan produksi hasil madu. Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi terhadap pengelolaan lebah madu kelulut dengan tingkat pengetahuan dan terdapat berhubungan positif tidak signifikan antara persepsi terhadap pengelolaan lebah madu kelulut dengan tingkat pendapatan. Pengelolaan lebah madu kelulut dapat dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan kontribusi berupa pendampingan dan sumbangan berupa tanaman berbunga dari pihak yang berwenang.
