HOTEL BISNIS DI TEPIAN SUNGAI KAPUAS

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, kebutuhan akan tempat tinggal juga meningkat, begitu pula dengan hotel. Hotel merupakan tempat tinggal sementara sejumlah orang yang memiliki kepentingan tertentu seperti berwisata, berbisnis maupun dengan tujuan lainnya di tempat tertentu. Saat ini banyak perusahaan yang melakukan investasi dengan membangun hotel di Kota Pontianak, baik hotel berbintang maupun melati. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendataan dari literatur dan studi lapangan, didapatkan bahwa kondisi bangunan eksisting yang sudah kurang memadai kegiatan didalamnya. Potensi lain dari lokasi perancangan adalah berada di kawasan strategis perdagangan dan jasa, maka hotel bisnis sangat cocok untuk melengkapi kegiatan di sana. Pedagang yang datang berasal dari berbagai kalangan sehingga jika dirancang hotel berbintang maka pedagang skala kecil akan sulit menyesuaikan diri sehingga hotel bisnis akan dirancang dengan konsep hotel budget atau hotel murah. Lokasi perancangan juga berbatasan langsung dengan Sungai Kapuas yang dapat menjadi identitas sehingga hotel bisnis ini dapat berbeda dari hotel-hotel lainnya.
