UJI SIFAT FISIK SEDIAAN SALEP KOMBINASI MADU KELULUT (Heterotrigona itama) DAN EKSTRAK SIRIH HIJAU (Piper betle Linn.)

Abstract

Salep merupakan sediaan semi padat yang mudah digunakan sebagai obat luar dan memiliki keuntungan tidak mengiritasi kulit. bahan alam yang dapat digunakan sebagai zat aktif dalam pembuatan salep yakni madu kelulut (Heterotrigona itama) dan sirih hijau (Piper betle Linn). Madu kelulut memiliki kemampuan menstimulasi proses pengangkatan jaringan mati. Sirih hijau memiliki banyak manfaat yakni menahan pendarahan, menyembuhkan luka kulit, membersihkan tenggorokan dan sariawan. Peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat fisik sediaan salep kombinasi madu kelulut (Heterotrigona itama) dan ekstrak sirih hijau (Piper betle Linn.). Uji sifat fisik yang dilakukan meliputi uji daya lekat, uji daya sebar, uji homogenitas dan uji organoleptic. Hasil uji sifat fisik menunjukkan uji organoleptik yang stabil, uji daya sebar 9,10 ± 0,10, uji daya lekat 54,67 ± 3,86 dan terdistribusi merata (homogen). Kelulut honey has the ability to stimulate the process of removing dead tissue. Green betel has the advantage of being able to prevent the bleeding, healing skin wounds, clearing throat and mouth sores. The objective of this study was to determine the physical properties of the combination of kelulut honey (Heterotrigona itama) and green betel extract (Piper betle Linn.). The physical properties test carried out included the adhesion test, the spreadability test, the homogeneity test and the organoleptic test.
