Abstract

Seedlings in Mempawah Mangrove Park have no information on the types of destructive organisms, the percentage of attacked plants and the level of damage up to now. The purpose of this study was to identify organisms that destroy the seedling and determine the percentage of attacked plants and the level of damage in the Mempawah Mangrove Park nursery area. This research was conducted for 4 weeks in the field. The survey method is used to collect the research data. The sequence of activities are as follows: 1) determination of sample in plants, 2) species of organism that destory the seedling and 3) assessing the level of . The results show that we fouad 3 organisms, that one: a) insects with 4 families, that are Tettigonidae(Conocephalus sp), Acrididae (Coxya chinensis), Thumisidae Thomisius cherapunjeus), and Formicidae (Oecophylla), b) Gastropods  with 1 family (Littoraria undolata), and c) Crustaceans with 1 familyGapsidae(Metaplax sp). The percentage of plants attacked by destructive organisms in the Mempawah Mangrove Park nursery 16%, including in the low attacth mean white the level of seedlings damage is 5.06%, including is the low   in the damage.
