PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SMA NEGERI 2 SUNGAI RAYA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas X C SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya menggunakan metode   problem based learning. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 (dua) siklus. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa metode   problem based learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas X C SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. Sebelum dilaksanakan   tindakan   nilai rata-rata siswa 66,7 dilaksanakan tindakan siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 71,6 dan dilaksanakan tindakan siklus II nilai   rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 77,7. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan metode problem based learning telah berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas X C SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya.

Abstract: This study aims to determine students' speaking skills enhancement classes XC SMAN 2 Sungai Raya using problem based learning. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The study was conducted two (2) cycles. Results and discussion shows that the method of problem based learning can improve students' speaking skills classes XC SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. Before implemented measures the average value of 66.7 students conducted the first cycle measures the average value of students increased to 71.6 and held the second cycle students' average score increased to 77.7. It can be concluded that a class action research using problem-based learning method has succeeded in improving speaking skills in Class XC SMAN 2 Sungai Raya.
