PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA GAMBAR DI KELAS V SDN 11 SIMPANG DUA

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan media gambar pada pelajaran IPS.Metode Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan bentuk penelitian   Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bersifat kolaboratif dengan teman sejawat dan siswa kelas V dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran pada siklus I dengan rata-rata skor 2,00 (cukup), pada siklus II dengan rata-rata skor 2,57 (cukup), menjadi meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 3,57(baik). Kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I dengan rata-rata skor 2,00, pada silklus II dengan rata-rata skor 2,87, menjadi meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 3,87. Terjadi peningkatan aktivitas fisik dari siklus I sebesar 43,75%, siklus II sebesar 65,00% meningkat pada siklus III sebesar 82,50%. Aktivitas mental pada siklus I sebesar 46,88%, siklus II sebesar 63,75% pada siklus III menjadi 80,00%. Aktivitas emosional siklus I sebesar 40,00%, siklus II sebesar 41,00%, dan meningkat pada siklus III sebesar 70,00%. Dengan demikian telah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa dari base line ke siklus III sebesar 52,08% pada pelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media gambar, di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Simpang Dua sebesar 33.96 %.

Abstract. This study aimed to describe the increase in student learning activities using media images on subjects IPS.Metode research using descriptive method, with the form of research Action Research (PTK) that is collaborative with colleagues and fifth grade students in three cycles.
