IMPLEMENTASI SUPERVISI AKADEMIK OLEH PENGAWAS SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui rancangan implementasi supervisi akademik oleh Pengawas Sekolah di SD Negeri 7 Singkawang Timur yaitu suatu SD Negeri yang jauh dari perkotaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik pemeriksaan derajat kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut: 1) Perencanaan Supervisi telah dibuat sesuai dengan petunjuk yang ada; 2) Pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas sekolah telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai jadual; 3) Penilaian pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran telah menujukkan kompetensi dengan kategori baik; 4) Hambatannya adalah cuaca yang kurang mendukung, jarak yang cukup jauh, sehingga sering terlambat.

Abstract: This study aims to know the implementation plan of academic supervision by the school supervisor at SD Negeri 7 Singkawang Timur, that is a school in the remote area of Singkawang. The descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. The data were colleceted using interview, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using test of confidence leveltechnique. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The supervison was done by those teachers had shown their competence as classroom teachers even though they had to teach in two classrooms at the same time; 2) Another result of the academic supervision to the classroom teachers was good; 3) The average of pedagogical competence of the classroom teachers was good; 4) The obstacles of the weather and the distance of the school.
